Join us on this holiday full of festivities!
Nice Carnival is the top winter event on the French Riviera as the city comes alive with festivities; music flows from every street corner, spectacular processions take place and huge papier-mâché characters parade through the city. The charming town of Menton on the magnificent Cote d’Azur plays host to the renowned annual Lemon Festival. For two weeks the town’s streets are transformed as they are taken over by bands, acrobats and giants made from citrus fruit!

Tour Details
| Monday & Tuesday – We travel via the Eurotunnel to France and to our overnight hotel for a bed and breakfast stay. The next day we continue our journey across the border into Italy and Diano Marina for four nights. Bursting with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, it is an ideal base for our holiday.
Wednesday to Friday – At leisure to enjoy our lovely resort and our two festivals!
We include a full-day to nice Carnival. The city comes alive with joyful music and huge papier-mâché characters parading through the crowds.
We also include a full-day to the charming town of Menton. The citrus-lines streets full of boutiques and markets play host to the renowned annual Lemon Festival during which fruit floats parade through the streets and giant citrus decorations are displayed in the town’s gardens.
Saturday & Sunday – After a wonderful holiday we leave our resort and make our way to our overnight hotel. The next day we continue to Calais and complete our journey home.

| The 3-star family run Hotel Nettuno is situated in a quiet sunny position overlooking the bay, 700 metres from the centre of Diano Marina and 500 metres from the beach. Facilities include a restaurant and lounge bar. En-suite bedrooms have satellite TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and safe.
