| Already seen the Tulips in Netherlands? For 2011 we have chosen a new destination to see the explosion of spring flowers. The Arboretum Volcji Potok botanical gardens are the most visited in Slovenia, during the season, the gardens are rich with millions of colourful tulips, daffodils, orchids and even cacti. Our tour also includes a visit to the beautiful capital city of Ljubljana and our resort of Bled offers beautiful scenery, ideal for a lovely break away.

Tour Details
| Saturday & Sunday – We make our way to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, before continuing to our overnight hotel for a bed and breakfast stay. The next day we travel to Germany for an overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay in Würzburg.
Monday – Today we make our way to our main hotel in Bled where we stay for four nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast. Best known for its glacial lake, magnificent surrounding mountains and forests and iconic Bled Castle, the town makes an ideal setting for a lovely break away.
Tuesday to Thursday – Time at leisure to enjoy the resort and our included excursions.
A full-day excursion takes us to the highlight of this tour. Established in 1952, Arboretum Volcji Potok is famous for its spring display of tulips and daffodils and remains the most visited in Slovenia. With more than 2500 different species of trees and flowers, the park offers colourful displays and stretches of unspoilt nature which will leave you feeling truly inspired.
We also have a full-day to Ljublana with a guided tour of this capital city. Rich in assorted architecture and traces from all periods of its rich history, the city has a range of incredible Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture including its hilltop castle, St Nicholas Cathedral and Dragon Bridge.
Friday to Sunday – We retrace our steps to Würzburg in time for dinner and an overnight stay. The next day we continue our journey to our last overnight bed and breakfast stay, before making the ferry crossing home to Dover. |

| The charming three star Hotel Jelovica is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Bled and is close to the lake thus offering magnificent views.
