Tour Details
| Saturday & Sunday - We travel via the Eurotunnel to France before continuing through France, across Belgium and into Germany to our overnight hotel for bed and breakfast. We continue into the Czech Republic to our hotel in Prague where we stay for two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.
Monday – We enjoy some free time in Prague with an afternoon guided tour, giving an enchanting introduction to the city and its historic landmarks including Castle Hill, Charles Bridge and the Market.
Tuesday – After breakfast we visit Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, with beautiful medieval streets and attractions including the Baroque Parnassus Fountain. We continue our journey into Poland to Krakow where we stay for three nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
Wednesday – We have a full-day to Auschwitz-Birkenau which is now a memorial of the Holocaust and a UNESCO World heritage site. The main site of this Nazi concentration camp, is now a museum with photographs and exhibits, with a planned trail leading you through the cells to end in one of the gas chambers.
Thursday – Today we have an included half-day guided tour of Krakow, beginning with a stroll around the Market Square leading through the ancient city. This afternoon we visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a unique underground attraction with beautiful chambers and corridors decorated with stalagmites, stalactites and salt crystal chandeliers.
Friday to Sunday – We leave Krakow travelling to our overnight hotels in Germany and Belgium before making the ferry crossing home. |

Hotel Wyspianski, Krakow & Ariston Hotel, Prague
| We stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Wypianski, situated near the centre of Krakow and only 10 minutes walk from Market Square. Facilities include a lift, restaurant and bar whilst all bedrooms are en-suite with TV and telephone. We stay for two nights at the 3-star Ariston Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Prague and has a lift, restaurant and lobby, whilst bedrooms are en-suite with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and safe.
