Tour Details
| Saturday and Sunday – Sail from Fishguard to Rosslare before driving to Dungarvan for dinner, bed and breakfast at the Lawlors Hotel. The next day we make a stop at the renowned Blarney Stone en route to our hotel in Killarney for four nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.
Monday to Wednesday - Three leisurely days to enjoy our resort of Killarney as well as our included excursions.
Enjoy a full-day excursion to our highlight, the fabulous Ring of Kerry. We stop at the renowned Bog Village, which is delightfully preserved, revealing a true insight into the 18th century. We continue along the Iveragh Peninsula, circling the Carrantuohill and Mullaghanattin Mountains. Our journey of astounding scenery continues to Cahirciveen and Waterville before our final stop at the famous Ladies’ View overlooking Killarney Valley.
We have a half-day excursion to Killarney where a wealth of sights awaits you. Take an optional jaunting car ride and boat trip through the wonderful Killarney National Park, rich in history and now boasting spectacular wildlife and vegetation.
Our final day excursion includes a drive around the magnificent Dingle Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty, en route to Slea Head, location for the filming of ‘Ryan’s Daughter’. We stop at the small town of Inch before returning to our hotel via Farranfore village.
Thursday - We leave Ballyheigue early and travel across the Emerald Isle to discover the treasures of cosmopolitan Dublin – be sure to explore the cobbled streets of Temple Bar! Then to the seaside resort of Bray for dinner, bed and breakfast at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin.
Friday - It’s time to bid farewell to Ireland, for the ferry crossing to Holyhead and home. |
