Tour Details
| Monday - We travel across the border into bonnie Scotland and through picturesque scenery to Oban where we stay for four nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.
Tuesday to Thursday – At leisure in Oban, a bustling port and popular holiday destination. Why not explore the Argyll gardens where gardeners’ dreams come true. You can always explore the history of the town and take in the wonder that is Oban.
We include a full day where we travel via ferry from Oban to Craignure before continuing through a mesmerising stretch of scenery on our way to the tiny Isle of Iona, the historic place of pilgrimage. The history of these islands is full of mystery and suspense!
We include a half day to the villages of Ballachulish and Glencoe, by the shore of Loch Leven surrounded by majestic mountains.
Friday – We depart for home, travelling through the impressive Border Country on our homeward journey. |

The Royal Hotel, Oban
| The 3-star Royal Hotel stands in the centre of town, close to the harbour and ferry terminal and offers traditional Scottish hospitality. It is an ideal base from which to explore the West Coast of Scotland and has a lift to all floors, restaurant and lounge bar which has been newly redecorated. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer.
