| Join us for a memorable seaside holiday in one of the best-loved resorts on the south coast: traditional Victorian Eastbourne with its dazzling floral displays and fantastic beach sheltered by the South Downs. Our south coast escape brings you the best of the region with visits to historic Battle and Hastings, fabulous Beachy Head and the lovely village of Alfriston, as well as a full day to explore cosmopolitan Brighton.

Tour Details
| Saturday – We make our way to Eastbourne for six nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.
Sunday to Thursday – You have time to explore Eastbourne at your leisure and enjoy our included excursions.
We include a full-day to Brighton, one of the most vibrant resorts in Europe with its pier, Royal Pavilion and the famous Lanes shopping area, not to mention its lovely beach and promenade.
We also include a half-day excursion to Battle, the scene of the famous battle of 1066, before spending some time in Hastings, a mixture of holiday resort, historic fishing port and artists’ retreat.
Our final included half-day visits Beachy Head, then travels through the Cuckmere Valley to Alfriston, a beautiful village on the river bank. This popular tourist haunt is famous for its Clergy House, the first building acquired by the National Trust (for just £10) in 1896.
Friday – We leave Eastbourne making our way homeward.
